The TRA and the Ministry of Economy and Trade signed an MoU on Wednesday 11th February as a fundamental step taken to protect telecommunications consumers rights and solve their complaints
. Mr. Fouad Fleilfel, Director General of the MoET and head of the Consumer Protection Directorate (CPD) at the Ministry, had already set-up a hotline within CPD to handle all consumers complaints including telecom ones. Both institutions have now joined their efforts and shared this hotline as a first step to better serve telecom consumers.
